Ambleside Parent Internship

Join us on Wednesday, May 3, for our day-long Parent Internship, which will be led by Maryellen St. Cyr, the Director of Curriculum for Ambleside Schools International. 

Each year, we open our school to current parents for a one-day internship. The goal is for parents to acquire a more comprehensive view of an Ambleside education. You will gain insight into how you can apply Charlotte Mason's methods at home and a clearer vision of the education your children are receiving. 

You will explore texts central to Charlotte Mason's pedagogy, observe teachers as they apply these principles, and see students thrive in a healthy, vibrant atmosphere, a consistent training in habit, and a curriculum rich with great books. The observation times alternate with times of guided discussion. 

The cost is $35, which covers materials, a light breakfast, and a delicious lunch. Participation is limited, so make plans to join us and find childcare for your younger children.
