Application Process
1. Apply – Create an account and submit an application through our online portal.
2. Assessment – Upon receipt of the completed application, we will conduct a student assessment with one of our teachers.
3. Interview – Following the student assessment, we will schedule a parent interview.
Interview Preparation:
Read chapter 2 of When Children Love to Learn. This book outlines the ideas of Charlotte Mason (1842-1923), an English author, philosopher and educator, as the basis of Ambleside School’s method of education.
We ask that both parents (or legal guardians) participate in the interview.
4. Admissions Decision – Upon successful completion of the application, student assessment, recommendation forms, and parent interview, you will receive notification of admission. If admitted, you will receive more information regarding the enrollment process and how you can secure your child’s seat.
