Ambleside School Location

Ambleside School is located near Tysons Corner, easily accessible from the Toll Road and right off Leesburg Pike, at 8980 Brook Road, McLean, VA  22102.

Since it first opened its doors in 1999, Ambleside has gained a reputation among area high schools for developing thoughtful, curious young people of character and conviction.  Year after year, students have discovered their unlimited capacity for the knowledge found in good books, careful observation, intentional work, and free time out of doors.  

Ambleside moved to Providence Baptist Church in the Fall of 2018.   We will always be a small school, but we will have room to grow and modern, light-filled classrooms to better educate our students.   

Here are some highlights of our campus:    

• Breakout rooms for science labs, art classes, and small instructional groups.

• A library to hold our collection of classic literature

• Open playgrounds for recess, wooded areas for nature study.

• A large worship/community space for our annual, signature events - Veterans Chapel, Christmas Candlelight Service, and Shakespeare Festival.

• Gym, kitchen and parlor to be used occasionally for community dinners, study groups, and Moms in Touch.
