There are a number of ways to invest to help expand the mission and reach. The information below is not exhaustive, but it is meant to stimulate further inquiry. We would be pleased to work with you to determine the best way for you to make the most of your investment. We also advise you to consult your financial planner before finalizing any gift.

You may use any major credit card. Simply click the link and follow the instructions to give online.
Your generous support helps us to provide need-based tuition assistance and faculty training and professional development. Ambleside School is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. All charitable gifts to Ambleside are tax deductible in accordance with current tax laws.

Ambleside Ambassador Monthly Gift Program
Become an Ambleside Ambassador! Recurring gifts are a great option to maximize your gift, with the convenience of automatic renewal. You can give to Ambleside in monthly, quarterly, or yearly installments online. Simply click here. You may also send recurring check gifts to the school by mail.

Produces a current tax deduction equal to fair-market value of the asset

Employer Matching Gift
Takes advantage of programs offered by many employers
Leverages donor’s gift to a higher level
If you or your spouse are affiliated with an organization that will match gifts, please forward the matching gift form (generally you can obtain it from the organization’s Human Resources office) along with your gift to Ambleside School. The Ambleside Tax ID Number is 54-1921391.
Cryptocurrencies
Direct transfer of asset may avoid capital gains tax if held for at least 1 year
May be eligible to deduct the fair market value of your long-term held crypto donation on your federal income tax return, subject to Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) limits
Cryptocurrency donations can sometimes involve lower transaction fees
Qualified Charitable Distribution
This is a tax-advantaged way for individuals aged 70 ½ or older to donate directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
The QCD amount is not included in your taxable income
Can count towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if you’re at least 73
Giving Securities (Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds)
Amount of contribution is fair-market value on date of transfer
Produces a tax deduction equal to the fair-market value of the securities on the date of transfer to the school (provided the donor held securities for more than one year)
Avoid capital gains tax on appreciated value
HOW IT WORKS
Ambleside gratefully accepts gifts of stock, which can be a meaningful and tax-efficient way to support the school’s mission.
Stock donations are transferred directly into Ambleside’s Raymond James stock donation account. Once notice of a completed stock transfer is received, our team will contact you to acknowledge the gift and confirm that the shares should be liquidated.

1. Register your Harris Teeter VIC card with the “Together in Education” program.
2. Our school code is 5039
3. Simply tell the cashier during check-out that you want the code linked to your VIC card. Once the number is linked, every time you shop, 5% of your Harris Teeter brand purchases will be contributed to Ambleside School.
DealAid
DealAid is a shopping online platform that allows you to save and donate to Ambleside while you shop. The list of stores represents top brands and retailers, including Costco, Walmart, and Target, to name a few. On these deals, as much as 50% of your purchase price could be donated to Ambleside. Ambleside School is grateful for the generous contributions of time and talent from our community members.
